The next ANBA Coffs Harbour Branch meeting will be held on Sunday the 19^th of May from 12pm. We will meet at South Coffs Community Garden (30 Bruce King Drive, Boambee East NSW 2452).

“Hi, my name is John Higgins & I’ve been a member of the ANBA for 4 years & a member of South Coffs Community Garden for 8 years; 7 years as President plus Treasurer for 8 years. I instigated the purchase of our first native TC hive 4 years ago & then the splitting of it pre varroa mite.

I am a retired Industrial Arts Teacher and University Lecturer; my wife, Christine, & I have lived in Sawtell for 44 years and are currently semi self-sufficient on a standard 720M² suburban block.

The meeting will include a short guided tour of our Community Garden, a look at our 2 TC hives, a viewing of our Native Bee Library plus some info about how we operate & the benefits of having our bees.

There will be a lucky door prize. Entry is $2 for ANBA members and $5 for non-ANBA members.
