Climate change reduces protein in pollen, bad for bees

The 2021 IPCC report sounds a dire warning for all of us to do something about climate change. Our precious bees are directly affected. Rising CO2 levels reduce protein in pollen, which is a crucial nutrient for bees. Bee food is less nutritious than it used to be, and the quality of pollen will continue to decline into the future.
